Omron Pedometers
The pedometers are (in order of popularity): * Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer At its corporate website, Omron promotes just six of these, and it has rebranded them GOsmart. It also has a GOsmart Pedometers website, where it promotes three of them. The reason for their popularity is of course that they are good. For example, Consumer Reports in its February 2009 issue named the Omron HJ 112 pedometer as its best buy among pedometers. And at Amazon.com this monitor has attracted more than 2,400 customer reviews An internet search will bring up many favorable reviews of Omron pedometers, although few appear to be particularly objective. Omron Healthcare has seven pedometers on the market, and, amazingly, they occupy (at time of writing) 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 12th and 16th positions on the Amazon.com pedometer bestseller rankings. Clearly, they are exceedingly popular.
