It has attracted two customer reviews Here is one: The one problem I immediately noticed about this humidifier is that it lacks a directional nozzle to control the direction of mist. I have seen this on other versions. In the winter my wife is a humidifier freak and needs one in every room! This one has a little more water storage than some others. Personally I like the ones that are shaped like animals, my penguin one is my favorite. The mist just shoots straight upwards and like I said, I would like a directional nozzle. You are supposed to put these things above the ground, so if you put it on a wooded table, the mist is falling right back down on top of the surface it sits on and the condensation does build up. So rather than the mist shooting outwards away from the table, it just falls straight down onto the (possibly valuable) table its sitting on. It did not come with any kind of filter but I don't think they are needed anyway. I think its a scam, especially if you look at the price of replacement filters. Just so you know, and I thought that was a lot but I've seen them for more on the internet so I don't feel so bad now. And the other: I like the humidity output, it works great. It's not the quietest humidifier I've owned. I currently have two of these, and the problem I'm experiencing with both, is that some black residue builds up in the reservoir. I have poured some vinegar in the tank each time I fill it but it doesn't do the trick. any ideas out there?
