It has attracted 11 customer reviews According to an excerpt from a five-star review: Bought this humidifier last fall. Have had zero issues with it. We have city treated water, which i believe will not allow mold, etc to grow - so I replace filters when the amount of humidification decreases and the humidifier can't keep up with demand. When the house heater is running, when it's cold out, I have to refill the tank a few times a day because it works so good. Humidity sensor works very well and shuts the unit off when the humidity reaches the uncalibrated set point. I use a digital humidity sensor from RS to monitor and run our humidity at about 50 to 52%. The tank is very easy to refill and the whole unit is very easy to clean. And another: I have had several Holmes humidifiers and Lasko humidifiers since getting rid of the last of the old permanent console Sears belt humidifiers that clogged and put mineral dust into the air. The Laskos just run and run season after season (clean them out at the end of each season) and replace the paper cascade with a metal Honeywell cascade once and forget it. Do not attempt to clean the aluminum cascade (or just replace the polymer cascades every year - they're really not filters, per se). BTW - You cannot fill these in the sink, they are too tall; you must use the faucet in the bath tub or shower.
