Honeywell HEPA Air Filters
It is difficult to find independent and authoritative reviews of the products online. Most online reviews seem to be by consumers, relating their own experiences. Here is a review of the Honeywell 17005 QuietCare HEPA air filter from the Achoo! Allergy website: What I like about the Honeywell 17005 QuietCare: * It's very effective against allergy symptoms for such an inexpensive machine. What I don't like about the Honeywell 17005 QuietCare: * It doesn't remove as many contaminants as some of the more expensive units. Overall, I am very pleased with the Honeywell. It certainly has worked well for my daughter. It alleviated her allergy symptoms, making her more productive with her schoolwork. However, if your allergy symptoms are severe (like my husband's), you may want to look into a more substantial machine. But for people with minor environmental allergies, this is a great choice. According to Amazon.com sales figures, early in 2007 the HFD-120 Tower HEPA Air Purifier Here is one: I have other air cleaners with permanent filters and some with disposable filters. This cleans as good or better than any of them. I like the permanent filters because you can spend a lot of money on replacing filters. Also this one is more quiet than any of the others. And another: After researching air purifiers I realized I did not want an Ionic Breeze, so I tried this Honeywell model. I LOVE it. Of course, I really don't have any other air purifiers to compare it to, but I can say that I have severe dust mite allergies and this air purifier seems to help. I have been using it non-stop since I got it (about a month ago). We originally purchased this item for a room other than our bedroom. But I'm not letting it go anywhere so now I have to buy a second unit! If you have allergies like me, you need one of these and a Roomba to make your life easier :). * Get More Information and the Latest Prices on Honeywell HEPA Air Filters February 21st, 2007
