Medical Alert Products
If you are looking to buy medical alert devices, one of the best places to start is the Medical Alert Products best-seller list At the time of writing the top seller on the list was the Sonic Boom Alarm Clock (picture), which provides both an extra-loud alarm sound and a vibration function. It had an attracted an amazing 169 customer reviews at Amazon.com, with more than three-quarters of these four-star or five-star reviews. Here is a four-star review: This is a great alarm clock. I usually don't review anything, but I saw a lot of mixed reviews and thought this might help someone. I love this alarm clock. I haven't had it that long as it was a Christmas gift but I generally just use the vibrating feature and it wakes me up immediately without any of the discomfort associated with other "extreme" ways of waking up. Such as someone dumping water on you or jumping on the bed (both of which my loving wife think are funny). Anyway, the volume has a wide range of tones which help for variety, mostly because I tend to get used to any other clock after awhile and will just ignore it eventually. To sum it up briefly this alarm clock is a exactly what you're looking for if you want a wake up device for the sound...very sound sleeper. Especially at this price. Number Two on the best-seller list, at the time of writing, was the Diabetic Medical Identification Jewelry Necklace I recently purchased the diabetic necklace for my ten year old son. He had tried wearing a bracelet but it kept breaking. The necklace is perfect since he loves wearing it. Thank you for the quick delivery. And another: This is a very functional, inexpensive necklace and is comfortable to wear. I am happy with this, both the product and the price. Number Three best-seller was the 911 Emergency Phone Guardian Alert Easy to operate but poor sound. I guess the sound quality doesn't really matter seeing how any conversations will be short and to the point. Worked well when we tested it. All in all I fell a lot better knowing that my 92 year old father in law can get help whenever he needs it with just a push of a button. And another: I purchased this for a friend who has Parkinson's. Her hands shake badly and she can barely walk. We set it up and it seems fine, but of course she hasn't had to use it yet so I don't know how well it will work, . The only thing I'm concerned about is that the button is VERY hard to push, and is too small. * Get
