General
The WHO site should be the first site of call for anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge. It contains a vast amount of data, notably the excellent 62-page booklet Avian Influenza: Assessing the Pandemic Threat. There are also regular “Situation Updates” and extensive medical and health updates. WHO’s South-East Asian office maintains its own website, with additional information.
